About Us

Mully Children’s Family

Mully Children’s Family (MCF) is a leading charitable organisation based in Kenya, founded in 1989 by Prof. Charles M. Mulli and his wife, Esther N. Mulli. It is a faith-based organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children and youths.

Over the years, MCF has grown into a multi-faceted organisation, providing holistic care to over 30,000 children and extending its impact across Kenya and Tanzania. Its mission is rooted in Christian principles of love, hope, faith, forgiveness, prayer, humility, compassion, and service. It focuses on empowering vulnerable children, youths, and marginalised communities to transform their lives for sustainable change.

MCF’s vision is to create a world where every child and youth is safe, nurtured, and empowered to reach their full potential. The organisation’s mission is to rescue and provide a loving family environment to vulnerable children and youths, offering them shelter, education, medical care, and vocational training to enable them to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.

MCF was founded in response to Prof. Mulli’s life-changing experience, where God called him to abandon his successful business ventures and dedicate his life and resources to helping street children. He started by taking a few children from the streets of Kenya into his own home, which soon grew into a large family as the number of children increased rapidly. Mulli’s decision shocked many, but it laid the foundation for MCF, which has since grown into one of the most impactful children’s rescue organisations in Africa.
